Terms of Use

    Effective date: September 21, 2026

    These Terms of Use (the Terms) govern access to the W3League.net internet project (the website https://w3league.net, the Site, the Platform) and use of its services.

    The Terms are a public agreement between you (the User) and the administration of the W3League.net project (the Administration). By registering, signing in, connecting to the game server or otherwise using the Platform, you accept the Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

    Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

    The laws of the Republic of Belarus apply to the relationship between the parties.

    1. Subject of the agreement

    The Platform provides access to services related to Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, including:

    • a website with news, articles, rankings, player profiles and project materials;
    • a game server (including a PvPGN-based server);
    • the DotA Classic map and other maps published by the project;
    • uploading and viewing user maps — within the available functionality;
    • a support contact form.

    Some sections (the shop, the forum and others) may still be under development. Their appearance or change does not require a new agreement: an update of these Terms is sufficient.

    The Platform is provided “as is”. The Administration may change, limit or discontinue features, carry out maintenance, and reset or adjust rankings if errors, cheating or failures are found.

    2. Age and legal capacity

    The Platform may be used by persons aged 16 or older. Persons aged 16 to 18 use the Platform with the consent of their legal representatives, unless the laws of the Republic of Belarus provide otherwise.

    By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the right to enter into this agreement.

    3. Account

    Some features require registration. You agree to:

    • provide accurate information in the registration form;
    • keep your email address up to date;
    • keep your password confidential and not give account access to third parties;
    • notify the Administration via Support without delay if your account may have been compromised.

    As a rule, one person may have one game account. Creating extra accounts to bypass bans, inflate ranking, boost other players or otherwise abuse the service is prohibited.

    The Administration may refuse registration, restrict or terminate account access if the Terms or the law are violated.

    You are responsible for actions taken with your account until unauthorised use is established and you have reported it in time.

    4. Conduct and fair play

    It is prohibited to:

    • use cheats, bots, exploits, third-party software or any means that give an unfair advantage;
    • interfere with the server, the Site or the ranking, or attempt unauthorised access to other accounts and data;
    • insult other users or spread threats, harassment, discrimination or other toxic content;
    • publish materials prohibited by the laws of the Republic of Belarus, including extremist materials, calls to violence, child sexual abuse material, and information whose dissemination is restricted by law;
    • impersonate the Administration or any other person;
    • post spam, malicious links or advertising without the Administration’s consent;
    • use the Platform for commercial purposes without the Administration’s written consent;
    • upload maps, images or texts that infringe third-party rights.

    The Administration may moderate, hide or remove content and apply sanctions without prior notice where this is needed to protect the Platform and other users.

    5. User content

    Support messages, profile descriptions, avatars, uploaded maps and other materials you place on the Platform are user content.

    By posting content, you warrant that you have the necessary rights to it and grant the Administration a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, moderate and publicly display it within the Platform — for as long as it remains posted and to the extent needed to operate the service.

    The Administration is not obliged to pre-screen user content, but may remove it if it violates the Terms, the law or third-party rights.

    Feedback, balance suggestions and bug reports may be used by the Administration freely and without compensation to the User, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

    6. Intellectual property

    Warcraft III, The Frozen Throne, Blizzard and related designations are intellectual property of the respective rights holders. DotA and related designations may belong to the respective rights holders. W3League.net is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment, Valve Corporation or their affiliates unless expressly stated otherwise.

    Elements of the Site, original project materials, design, Administration texts, DotA Classic map modifications and Platform code that belong to the project may not be copied, distributed or used outside the Platform without the Administration’s consent, except where the law expressly allows it (including quotation within permitted limits).

    Nothing in the Terms transfers to the User any rights in third-party intellectual property. You need a legally obtained Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne client to play. The Administration does not distribute pirated copies of the game.

    7. Ranking, matches and competitions

    Rankings, statistics and match results are informational. The Administration may:

    • recalculate, reset or adjust figures in case of technical failures, cheating, arranged matches or accounting errors;
    • disqualify participants and cancel results;
    • set additional rules for particular tournaments. If such rules are published, they prevail for that tournament.

    Prizes and rewards, if announced, are provided on the terms of the specific announcement. If there is no separate announcement, participation is amateur and does not create any monetary obligation of the Administration.

    8. Limitation of liability

    The Platform is a community-supported service. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Belarus:

    • the Administration does not guarantee uninterrupted server operation, preservation of every match, accuracy of statistics, or compatibility with every device and client version;
    • the Administration is not liable for other users’ actions, user content, or third-party websites linked from the Platform;
    • losses, ranking loss, lost time and other indirect consequences of using or being unable to use the Platform are not compensated, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

    The Administration is not a party to transactions between Users. Disputes between players are resolved by them, unless the Administration chooses to intervene in order to enforce the Terms.

    9. Suspension and termination

    The Administration may warn you, temporarily restrict or block an account or particular features, and delete an account in case of a breach of the Terms or the law, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the service.

    You may stop using the Platform at any time. An account deletion request should be sent through Support. Deletion is completed within a reasonable time, subject to the Privacy Policy and technical limits (backups, game logs).

    Provisions that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in force.

    10. Third-party links

    The Site may contain links to Discord, video hosting and other external resources. The Administration does not control their content or data practices. You follow such links at your own risk.

    11. Changes to the Terms

    The Administration may change the Terms. A new version takes effect when it is published on this page, unless a later date is stated. Material changes may also be shown to Users when they sign in.

    Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect means you accept the new version. If you do not agree, stop using the Platform and, if needed, request account deletion.

    12. Governing law and disputes

    The Terms and related relations are governed by the substantive law of the Republic of Belarus.

    The parties will try to resolve disputes through negotiations and correspondence via Support. If a dispute is not resolved, it shall be considered by a court at the Administration’s location or by another court determined by the procedural law of the Republic of Belarus, unless mandatory rules (including consumer rules) require otherwise.

    For questions about the Terms, use the Support page.
